I'd like to duct-tape him to the wall.

Little Boy Wonder has struck again. This makes the fifth time in 12 days he has re-decorated our house. It wasn't with poop, or markers, or Trix cereal, or shampoo this time... his weapon of choice today was a brand new tube of Spongebob toothpaste. That stuff is BRIGHT blue. There were landmines up and down the hallway all over the carpet, into his room, all over Manda's shoes, into Mommy's room, all over Mommy's bathroom tile, and in the EXACT same place in Mommy's closet where the big shampoo incident occured. I went through about 5 gallons of water in our carpet cleaner on that one spot alone... and it's still coming up foam.

SHEESH!

That is funny, says the woman with no kids. You thought about getting him a puppy it would probably be less mess.

Maybe you should try keeping a better eye on him. Just saying.

Obviously "anonymous" doesn't have a toddler! I have 3. I KNOW messes. Remember the great "eggstavaganza" on my garage floor?? Bwahahahaha!!!!! SO not fun to clean up. Shello, I know your pain. Anonymous, either have the guts to put your name to a comment like that or zip it!

You know, I just caught myself writing a really acerbic response to Anonymous, but it is not worth the bitterness.

Anonymous, thank you for your revealing comment. I hope you meant it in a constructive sense. If you didn't, perhaps you can spend some time thinking about why you prefer to hide behind anonymity as you tear others down.

Dylan once took the hose to the great room and I mean, an inch of water filled my family room floor, soaking my carpet, couches, and just missing the tv. Just today he took my powder and so awesomely (is that a word?) made the couch cushions pretty and cleared up any blemishes they had. I can say I watch my 2-year-old monkey, but guess what, sometimes, they just do things no matter how closely we watch them!! We can be in the bathroom doing our thing and in that 2 minutes, disaster will strike! But we all know, duct tape is good for so many things!! : )

For the record---I am not 'anonymous'!

He is adorable and going through a SUPER curious stage. What kind of toy would divert his attention without encouraging his 'creativity' too much?

Love you---

Thanks for the entertainment. I thought story about J was entertaining. I didn't realize that the comments would be entertaining too.

I hope dumb "anonymous" comments don't keep you from posting good stories like this one.
